Practitioners located at Maxim Street have a mixed billing policy. This means an out-of-pocket cost will apply to most consultations. Below is a guide of the estimated cost based on time and complexity. Each practitioner located at Maxim Street operates independently and has full autonomy with the treatment of patients and invoicing of patients. Bulk-Billing

• Bulk-billed consultations are available during weekdays for children under 16, aged pension card holders and healthcare card holders. Bulk-billed consultations are not available for Commonwealth Seniors Card holders.

• Nurse-led appointments (such as simple injections, flu vaccines) are bulk-billed. 

• Chronic disease appointments (such as care plans and health assessments) are bulk-billed. 

• Bulk-billed consultations are not available on weekends. An out-of-pocket fee will apply for all consultations.

Full Private Practitioners- from 1 July 2023

• Dr Camilla Holt's practice will be fully-private billing. Nurse-led appointments (such as simple injections, flu vaccines) are bulk-billed. Chronic disease consultations (such as care plans and health assessments) are bulk-billed. 

• Dr Maria Da Costa's practice will continue to bulk-bill existing patients who are children under 16, aged pension card holders and healthcare card holders. All new patients will incur a private fee. Nurse-led appointments (such as simple injections, flu vaccines) are bulk-billed. Chronic disease consultations (such as care plans and health assessments) are bulk-billed. 

Missed Appointment/Cancellation Fee

You may call to cancel your appointment up to 1 hour to the appointment time. However non-attendance to an appointment (without prior notice of cancellation) may incur a fee (currently $40.00).
